The EPIRB Tester

  The EPIRB Tester is designed for check the Emergency Radio Beacons according to the  SOLAS requirements  74 - 48, the IMO resolutions A.695(17) and A.810(19), the COSPAS/SARSAT procedures T.007 and the Russian Marine Register rules. The check is carried out in the shielded rooms such as the conning bridge, the hold etc with the 6x6x2,5 m overall dimensions.


The parameters of the COSPAS/SARSAT EPIRBs can be tested by the EPIRB Tester:

   All parameters can be checked automatically or the manual mode - picked parameter can be checked individually. The device is supplied with power supply unit. The measurements are carried out by means of EPIRB's testing-antenna or FR-cable. The obtained results can be displayed, written in EEPROM of the tester, printed out on the special printer, or transmitted to the computer.
   According to service conditions the device is designed for the operation in the internal ship rooms at temperature range 0C ...+55C, relative humidity 95% at 40 C. The overall dimensions of the device without antenna are 200x75x45. The weight is 1.5 kg.

     The EPIRB Tester 406 02 allows to check the Emergency Radio Beacons of any stamps and all modifications with various frequency of registration in a system COSPAS/SARSAT (406,025; 406,028; 406,030) according to the program of transition on new frequencies developments the Emergency Radio Beacons.


     The EPIRB Tester has a Certificate of Russian Marine Register.
